Our friends, Steve, Danielle, and their kids, Bella and Winston
joined us up at Camp for some good northern fun.
The first thing we did upon arriving was prep the campfire
since all the half-pints could think of was marshmallows!
We actually got some dinner into them before
we headed out to the fire for s'mores...
And I actually got Jacob to hold still for a picture.
Then we did some boating...
And Mango found something fun to do.
Then, all tired out, everyone took naps...
Except for Jacob and I (the insomniacs). We picked
berries instead...
And saw this cool-looking guy.
Then we headed to the park, where kids
will be kids, and the adults played tennis...
And Jacob got to drive on the way home.

Oh, my, God! You should have collected up that monarch caterpillar! Debbie Brush is collecting them as a part of a research project by the University of Ohio. They are studying the migration of the butterflies. So, Debbie is a volunteer who finds the caterpillars, keeps them until they turn into butterflies, then tags them and releases them. The University will then send students to South America to track down the tagged butterflies. Very interesting stuff! Debbie would be out-of-her-mind excited if she saw that caterpillar that you got there!
