We got lost in Baltimore for three weeks!

No, not really. But that would be a good excuse for not having posted since then. The trip just got very busy what with all the packing and unpacking we had to do almost everyday. We had a grrreat time and miss the beach, but are looking forward to heading back to Cape May next year for a 60th birthday celebration.

Anyway, we took some good pictures on the trip so I want to post them even though they're very late. Here's the next day (from where I left off) at the Maryland Zoo and then later that evening in DC. Sabine is reaching for the trees in the one below (she's actually doing an exaggerated 'tree' sign), she loves trees. Then there's the peekaboo ostrich (or whatever it was, I can't remember at this point), the cool leopard picture, Jacob feeding the giraffe for $2 that the zoo staff tricked us into, and a dorky penguin family that we couldn't resist taking a photo of.
