The misadventures of a (formerly) young mom just trying to get through life one day at a time.

This is your brain:
This is your brain in your hand:
This is your brain on the sidewalk outside the bedroom window.
And that is what happens when you have a mother who grew up partially in the 80's, and you tell her you want to jump out the second-story bedroom window and onto the bush down below.
HA HA HA! That's great! I have to remember that for the next time my 4yo wants to do something and I say no, because you'll get hurt, and he says he won't. ;)
Well, that's a pretty clever way of teaching that particular lesson, I must admit. Of course, you just showed a boy what fun it is to drop things out of a second story window.......
Mostly stay-at-home mom. Free spirit, avid reader, journaller, uber-recycler, caffeine junkie, fitness buff, nutrition nut, insomniac, green living fanatic.
I live here, in a little yellow house, with my husband, 7 year old son, 3 year old daughter and soon-to-be newborn. We share this place with four rabbits and two dogs, and we keep saying "no more!" But who are we kidding because we tend to lead with our hearts and do the thinking part later.
I spend my life in a cycle of house cleaning, animal care, playgroups, trying to squeeze in as much selfish computer/book/writing time as possible while still being a good enough mom, sleepless nights and crazy, harried, multi-tasked days.
