Jacob's Barn
Here it is, finally completed! Zach and Jacob were hard at work during the three weeks Zach had off after Sabine was born.
Below is some of the process and a bunch of completed pictures because Jacob wanted prints to "show the guys at True Value" because they all get a kick out of him when he goes there with Zach, and they like to keep up with what projects he's up to. Zach said Jacob really was a big help and saved Zach a lot of time on certain parts of it.
No, I don't think so. Although Jacob would LOVE that, I doubt it's allowed where we live. Zach wants them too, but again, it's not like we need more more animals! Jacob just wanted to put that sign up as part of his fantasy - I think deep down he knows we can't get them. Maybe someday.
Mostly stay-at-home mom. Free spirit, avid reader, journaller, uber-recycler, caffeine junkie, fitness buff, nutrition nut, insomniac, green living fanatic.
I live here, in a little yellow house, with my husband, 7 year old son, 3 year old daughter and soon-to-be newborn. We share this place with four rabbits and two dogs, and we keep saying "no more!" But who are we kidding because we tend to lead with our hearts and do the thinking part later.
I spend my life in a cycle of house cleaning, animal care, playgroups, trying to squeeze in as much selfish computer/book/writing time as possible while still being a good enough mom, sleepless nights and crazy, harried, multi-tasked days.

Are you really getting chickens like it says on the Coming Soon sign in the framing picture?
